Service Description

Saturday, October 19th 2024 2:00-4:00pm Run through the foundations of pickling, fermenting and preserving with chef Chris including: introduction to pickling, fermentation and preserving techniques, historical practices, uses and recipes. He will provide you with all the tools and knowledge so you can create your own pickles, ferments and preserves at home. Includes: info sheet, recipe cards, jar and produce to prepare on the night and take home. Light meal (including our pickles and preserves) and refreshments included. Please note: This class is located at Lilijana Upstairs (169 Bay Street, Port Melbourne). This will be located on the first floor via a flight of stairs and unfortunately does not have wheelchair accessibility. *Minimum of 4 attendees required for the class to run, maximum of 8 per class.
